Degrees To 3 From Boro;Markowitz Commissioned, CARTERET—John Joseph Markowitz, son of Mr. and Mrs, Joseph Markowitz of 5R7 Roosevelt Avenue, has been commissioned second lieu tenant in the Army, following his recent graduation fuom the University of Alabama. lie graduated from Carteret High School in 1038.4Also receiving degrees from college this month' were Marvin Greenwald, brother of Councilman William Greenwald, and Albert J, Breqhka, The former was made doctor of Dental Surgery by the University of Pennsylvania, whileBreehka received the degree ofbachelor of science from the sumo institution.
