TWELVE MILE.Monday, June 2, 1919.We are having some hot weather around old Twelve Mile.I QSaturday registered 91 in the shade.IThe writer has been tripping:] around for three weeks visiting tand sight’ seeing. Spent four days last week visiting my daughter, Mrs. Jessie Musselman and family, in Denver. Found them all well. Doc Musselman is the busiest man in Denver he scarcely gets time to eat or sleep for his numerous calls. He doesn’t* lose many patients the last one was a horse that died. While in Denver I attended Decoration Services in Denver in the forenoon and at Chili in the afternoon, both decorations were a grand good success. Denver cemetery has 18 old soldiers buried there and Chili has 44 veterans buried there. In the Chili cemetery they had set up a memorial stnnd for those United States soldiers thut are buried over in France. Nine of the returned soldier boys, decorated the memorial stand for the dead soldier boys over the sea. Friday night those nine boys gave a grand entertainment in the Baptist Church in Denver. The boys entertained a full house for three long hours telling their experiences and war stories over seas with the Huns. Gee it was interesting to hear their stories.
