Mere Mention.—We had tl*e pleasure, one day last week, of welcoming to our sanctum the gallant Lieut. H. H. Hopkins, of the 110th Regiment P.■ . a * rV. He was wounded at the battle of Winchester, where, as we learn from members; of his company,he fought like a tiger. He is rapidly recovering: ;from the effects of his wound, and seems to be just as full of fun as in former days. We have known Hiram from his youth up, and if we sympathized with the “seefiah,” we would advise them to keep out of reach of his sword, for he is going to join his cpgiment again in a few days.” 44 Bully for him.”-
