Washburn Man Due to ^Finish at West Point John E- Schweizer, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Schweizer, Washburn, will be graduated from the United States military academy at West Point, N. Y„ Tuesday. Upon graduation he will be commissioned a second lieutenant in the corps of i engineers,1 A 1945 graduateof Washburn highschool, Schweizer attended Wentworth Military academy, Losing-,• ton. Mo,, wherein he was an honorsequently received an hotior appointment to the U, S, ^ military academy. ^hv,eiz„In West Point he was rated a ''distinguished cadet.”. His parents will attend the graduation ceremonies.at West Point.On the day following his graduation, Schwelzer will be married to Miss Wenekc Klippen. daughter of Mrs. Elvina ftiippen. Garrison, at the military academy chapel,Mrs. E. M. Enockson, 511 Anderson St., is an aunt of the graduating cadet.
