Ovis Dil-worth, Carey, Ida., has preached his fourth Mormon service since arriving here from Tarawa.This stocky youth hardly looked the part of a preacher with his G-I haircut and khaki uniform, but already he is well known in these parts for the active part he plays In the church.Private Dilworth was reared in the Mormon community of Carey, and went on a mission for the Church throughout the western states in 1938 and 1940. He enlisted in 1942 and maintained his vivid interest in his faith.He fought at Tarawa with the farmed second marine division, which recently was awarded the presidential unit citation, and after the battle came to this island with his unit.He immediately located the chapel of his faith, situated within i walking distance of the camp.
