Four GraduatesJoin The NavyChief Chuck McPherson, Navy Recruiter for this area, has announced the enlistment of four Neosho young men.Those enlisted were Calvin L. i Sawvell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon L. Sawvell, Rte. 2; Richard A. Crawford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Crawford, 713 Gibson; Ronald A. Cholka, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome P. Cholka, 401 Park, and Stephen R. Thiessen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest E. Thiessen, 305 Crest-wood Drive.All of the young men enlisted in the Navy High School Graduate Training Program and upon completion of approximately eight weeks of indoctrination training will be assigned to a Navy school for further training in a Navy trade.The young men are recent graduates of Neosho High School and enlisted through the Navy Recruiting Station, Joplin.
