SENIOR WRITERS SAY “GOODBYE”The senior members of the Shrapnel staff sever their connection with the paper with this edition. It is with a feeling of regret that we complete our work. The Shrapnel is one of the few organizations that operate throughout the entire year. No matter what happens, the paper must be published, the dead-line must be met. At times, the work may have seemed hard, but we gained our satisfaction in knowing that we were recording the busy life of the school and doing our best to forward the welfare of Western. On these pages during the past year have appeared the accounts of our triumphs, trials, and defeats. Amusing incidents of campus life have found their way into these columns. He who writes for a newspaper is truly dea ing with the very warp and woof of human life. We have had our fingers upon the pulse beats of the school. As we leave this fascinating activity, we extend our bestwishes to the members of the staff who will carry on next fall.We know that there are capable men among you. May you have a better “Shrapnel” than we have had this year. Our last articles are in. Our final dead-line has been met. Goodbye, and good luck!
