1The body of Edward Krueger, who died overseas, was brought to the home of his parents in Gid-dings and interred there with full military honors on Wednesday of this week. He was in France with the 90thDivision, 360th Inf.. and took part in the great battles of the war. He was taken ill on the battlefield with influenza, and died later of pneumonia. The funeral was most impressive, the religious services preceding the military, at which there was an escort of about sixty soldiers.JlThe deceased is a son of Mr. and I Mrs. Ed Krueger of Giddings.and many relatives and friends from Shelby and vicinity were present at the funeral. He is also a nephew of Judge C. G. Krueger of Bellvilie, who, with Mrs. Kruger and their little son. went to Giddings for the funeral.
