(Bill) Brandt, 22, former Logan youth, who was killed Sunday in an airplane crash at Coffeyville, Kansas where he was stationed as an Army Air Corps cadet.Of the 81 boys who were examined in Columbus May 28, 62 were accepted, 17 were rejected and 2 were held over until the next contingent are to leave. Of the 62 accepted, 21 were to go tothe Navy, 38 to the Army and 3 to the Marines.The body will be brought to Logan where military services will be conducted at the graveside by members of the American Legion Post 78. Rev. Father John Eyerman will officate and burial will be made in the Oak Grove Cemetery.Names of the 62 men accepted for military service who will report June 4 at Fort Benjamin Harrison Reception Center, Ind., are as follows:Brandt, who was formerly employed by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad signal maintenance division here, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John H.
