Baxter of the Soldiers’ Information Bureau is in receipt of the following letter from Col Edward L. Bogan of the 101st Regiment of infantry :“Your letter before sailing was moat welcome and reached.us in the trenches. It. has been pretty lively, and in celebration of April ID the Boche made a lively effort to get at the RegimentalHeadquarters. So far we have fooled them, but it was rather narrow.We are well and also very happy that you saw us before we entered. Give my best wishes to all and many thanks for the great joy and pleasure we had in talking with you. You don't know how ell the boys appreciated the fact that' you came over representing Massachusetts in looking after Their interests.”
