Chief Motor Machinist’s Mate Hoovler was separated from the Navy on April 15 at Bremerton, Wash., after three years of service.He was inducted on March 10, 1943. and received recruit training at Sampson, N. Y. Next he took several weeks of diesel engineering at Richmond, Va„ and that fall was sent to Norfolk, Va. The last 20 months of his career were spent overseas with amphibious forces and he has these decorations: EAME ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific ribbon, American campaign ribbon, Victory medal- and the Good Conduct medal.'
