Memories Of ActiveBy Elsie McKayIn keeping with the Decoration Day parade and service held recently in memory of ■those who gave their lives thatOfficer Edwin Hodgson, RCAF.During the Second World War while serving in Holland in 1942, F.O, Hodgson was one of a group of four Air-Foroe officers who volunteered to drop food to men in the trenches who were in dure need of supplies.There were two English officers and two Canadians.All four were killed in the action.Flying Officer Hodgson wasthe son of Mrs. Walter Birston,12 Toronto Ave.He is survived by one son, Stewart Morton, of Winnipeg. ’There are three hmtifiA,™; ai.Service
