Sp/3 Alfred H. Thane Participat esln Training Exercise In GermanyArmy Specialist Third Class Alfred H. Thane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thane, Navasota, recently participated in a field training exercise with the 2nd Artillery in Germany.Specialist Thane, a cannoneer in the artillery’s Battery D, entered tho army in May 1957 and received basic training at Fort Riley, Kan. He arrived in Europe last December. ;Thane is a 1952 graduate of! Navasota high school.
