McGary, who just, got his .commission at Camp Lee, Va.Col.--McGary is a native SanAntonian, having been born here in 188S. He “was a classmate of Gen. Douglas MacArthur at the old West Texas Military Academy. He has seen duty at Fort Sain Houston and he was the officer in charge of establishing Normoyle Depot.He also organized the first motor transportation units sent overseas by the American Expeditionary Forces. ‘ *.A veteran of 28 years’ Army service, Col. - McGary served 19 months in Prance.
