Pvt. First Class L. James StroafTribune Photo-EngravingPrivate First Class L. James Strouf enlisted February 25, 1941. After his induction at Fort Snell-ing he was sent to Fort Lewis, Wash. In June, 1942 he was transferred to Fort Ord, Calif. L. James was born March, 1918 and was graduated from the Austin high school in 1935. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Strouf, Glenvilie. His present address is P. F. C. L. James Strouf, Hattery C 9th Field Artillery, A.P.O. 3, Fort Ord, Calif.
