With the Colors\\The following letter is from Sgt. Melvin Edwards who is .stationed at Keesler Field, Biloxi. Miss. He writes: Dear Alec. Ed, and Harvey in general via The Tribune:lt;1♦ I“It’s been quite some time since you have heard from Keesler Field, Mis.-., way. at least from this source. So here goes a short but well meant ! 1 epistle.!!(!iM Inow I am sitting at the typewriter in my office, I OfficersPersonnel Division of Post Headquarters') with a fan at my eibow and a player that this heat will turn into snow, by some miracle or other. 1mean it's really hot down in this neck | t of the woods. It’- not so much thesun as it is the combination of sun and humidity of which there is plenty. Heat prostration and sweating iv the habit here. Of course, to go with the -heat we have plenty of sand and I don’t mean beach sand either.Hut seriously, even though it doen’t ,-ound like it, this field i on»- of the nicest as well as one of the most efficient examples of tin- Arm.v AirForces Tech School in the U.
