Ark.The Stilwell and Tahlequah units are part of the 120th Engineers, headquartered in Okmulgee. Other units are at Henryetta. Wagoner. Musko^ gee. and Haskell.They and other guardsmen of the 45th Support Center and 45th Field Artillery Group will be the second large contingent going to Fort Chaffee this year. The 45th Infantry Brigade com pleted two weeks of training there on July 3.Gov David Boren is scheduled to visit Ft. Chaffee during the two-week encampment to see the guardsmen in action.Reviews CancelledWhen Boren became governor, he cancelled the Governor's Day reviews which had been held at past camps and ■chose instead to visit the guardsmen when they are on the job performing their training.During the two-week encampment. some units will take Army Training Tests to check their proficiency atDates of Sept. 2 and 3 were chosen for the Adair County Fair at the state park near Stilwell during a meeting of the fair board.Mrs Regina Ruckman. Fairest of the Fair contest chairman, said her committee plans to hold the annual competition Saturday. Aug, 28.Several girls are planning to enter the competition this year.
