DON SPAULDING IS PRISONER OF JAPS, FAMILY INFORMED^m •Friends here are interested in the announcement that Don Spaulding, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Spaulding of Jackson, is a prisoner of the• •Japanese. It was reported several♦months ago he was missing. Young Spalding was serving in the Phjllip-pines when the island,, surrendered, and no news was received from him until recently.Spaulding formerly resided at Indian Springs and is known to* many of the people here who are delighted to know he is a prisoner rather than a casualty.
