The Toledo people feel justly proud of the 14th and Col. Steedman. They have acquittedthemselves most worthily and are now resting, for a brief period, on their laurels. From the Blade we learn that only two of the Regiment were killed by the enemy and two killed accidentally. Quite a number have been wounded. several very seriously, but all are now reported as improving. A number are also sickwith fever, but none dangerously so. Hospital arrangements are being prepared at Toledo for the comfortable accommodation of allwho are there under the surgeon's care.The Regiment has a regularly established camp there, and it is the design to preserve the organisation, recruit up and take the field very shortly again. Steedman has a very fine spy glass which was taken at the Battle of Carrick s Ford, which is supposed to have belonged toGen.
