Dear Lynn,I want to thank you for the list of veterans you listed in our paper. I had called the News after it ran and wanted my brothers names added, but I was told you were not taking anymore names. Then I gel my paper and there is a list going on.I had two brothers in the first group that left Brownficld.Thcy both volunteered, you have one listed John V. Goldston, Carl Goldston wasn't on it, they were in World War II and Carl also went to Korea. W.M. Goldston was also World War II. Louis B. Goldston volunteered for the Navy and Oliver Goldston the youngest, was a personal guard in Japan of General MacArthur.I was very proud of my fine brothers who served our country. All three of my boys went to the Vietnam war. One went back when he could have been in the States. Well you know how they were all treated when they came home.I enjoy gelling my hometown paper and keeping up with the old times. I wish you could start printing the old photos they used to do. I have scrapbooks on all of them.Thank you for the article this week, it hit the nail on the head. When are we going to start doing some tiling for our old people, homeless and hungary?Thank you, S/Violet (Goldston) O’KeeffeBox 303Denver City, Texas 79323
