Pvt. Earlen Nester Now on ManeuversPrivate Earlen D. Nester, son of Mrs. Mildred M. Banning of 210 South Livingston Street, Erookfieki, is participating in the mareuvers now going on at Mt. Fuji.The maneuvers consist of squad training, technique of fire and field firing, platoon tactical training and night tactical training.Prvate Nester is a member of the 27th Infantry Regiment of the Pacific famed 23th Infantry (Tropic Lightning) Division commanded by Major Geneval William B. Kean. The 27th Infantry is stationed at Gamp Sakai, near Osaka, Japan.
