Hanson, son of Mrs. Alma Hanson of 1302 North 11th avenue, Melrose Park, who died in a German prison camp April 17 of this year, will be conducted Sunday morning, July 29, at 11 o’clock, in the First Congregational church, 5th avenue and Erie. The American Legion will sound taps and Mrs. Grayce Koehler will sing. The public is invited.Surviving Pvt. Hanson besides his mother is a brother, Sgt. Gor-dor H. Hanson, now stationed in Manila, and two sisters, Edith Hanson and Mrs. Marjorie Brunn.Before entering service April lo,. 1944, Pvt. Hanson, 23, was employed by the American Can company. Another brother, Roy, was killed in an accident six years ago.
