Colella, daughter of Mr; Rosa Colella, 409 Pacific Street Franklin, became the bride of Ber Klapee, son of Mrs. Josephin Klapee, 605 Cooper Avenue, Oi City, in St. Patrick’s Church Franklin.The nuptial mass was celebrat ed at 10 a. m. with the churcl pastor, Rev. Urban S. Barrett, ol ficiating. Miss Frances Trinch prc sented appropriate wedding musicThe bride was presented in mat | nage by her brother-in-law, Georg Shoemaker, of this city. She wa attired in a gown oi white import ed lace and tulle, designed with fitted lace bodice and a high neck line of lace with a yoke of net I The full floor-length skirt was c i tulle with a wide panel of lac* at either side extending down th front to form a V at the hemline Her fingertip veil of illusion wa secured to a cap of lace outlined i seed pearls.An arm boikjuet of white pom pons, showered with streamers was carried by the bride and shi wore a double strand pearl choke necklace, a gift of the bridegroom She carried out all the tradition: by wearing a blue garter, a pai; of earrings for something old am borrowed and an old coin in he shoe for good luck.Miss Antoinette Colella was hei sister’s maid of honor wearing i dress of cotillion blue, fashionec with a full tulle skirt with an apror effect of matching lace in the front outlined with a band of tulle ir tiny pleats. The fitted bodice was topped with a lace bolero jacket She wore matching mitts of tulle and her headpiece was a blue clip in a leaf design, accented with rhinestones and a brief veil. She carried a colonial bouquet of mixed flowers.Joseph Klapee of Oil City served as best man for his brother. Ushering the guests to their seats were Norman Fassler and Charles Var Buskirk, both of Oil City.Following the ceremony a dinner was served to the immediate families in the Elks Club, Franklin. In the afternoon approximately 150 guests attended a reception held in the Colella home. A four-tier wedding cake topped by a miniature bride and bridegroom beneath a wedding bell centered the bride's table. White candles in double crystal holders and bouquets of flowers completed the setting.Reception aides were Mrs. Tony Monarch, Mrs. George Shoemaker. Mrs. Chester Klapee and Mrs. Samuel Rhoads.The newlyweds left on a short wedding trip following which they will reside at 605 Cooper Avenue. For traveling the bride chose a dress of pink crystalette, fashioned with a tucked bodice, full elbow-length sleeves and flared skirt. She completed her attire with white accessories and a white corsage.The new Mrs. Klapee, a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1948. is employed in Brown’s Boot Shop in Franklin. Her husband graduated from Oil City High School, class of 1948, and is self-employed. He served in the Army for two years, spending several months’ duty in Japan.Among the guests present were friends and relatives from Oil City, Franklin, McKeesport and Cleveland, Ohio.
