Barm o»lar was command* er of the 331st infantry.He was born, Jai uarys IT, 1895, in Everett, a son of the late Martin., D. and Elizabeth (Sjmnogle) Barndollar. Tis father was a veteran of the Civil War.Colonel Barndollar was graduated from Pennsylvania State College in 1917 and received acommission as a lieutenant in the■infantry in October of that year. Following the end of the first Worlc War he decided to make the Army his career. He wa3 graduated from the Infantry Sig-n' 1 and Field Artillery School a»:d also the Command and General Staff School. He was aavanced to the rank of full Colonel some time ago and sent to England m March 1944.He was a member of the Barn-dortar Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Everett.surviving are his wife and four sisters: Eliza Barndollar andMrs. W. Howard Lloyd, both c*. Everett; Mrs. L. W. Tingling and Mrs. Lyle Hazlett, both of Pittsburgh.
