Beacon Falls, where a high Mass of requiem was Celebrated at 9 o’clock by the Rev. Jerome Cooke,'pastor.Mrs. Jere McCarthy was the or-ganist, nnd soloist* were Mrs. Joan = seph Chlcoski and Richard Zollo, Net J The processional was Bead Kindly Light, and the offertory, Ave Marie, was sung by Mr, Zollo. The Sl.ar Spangled Banner was sung by bath .at the dose of the Mass and the recessional was Onward Christian Soldiers.After leaving the funeral • home, the - procession 1 traveled to the is I south end of the dual highway in-ed ! -®eACon Falls,, where a line of march was formed to'escort the body to the church.The escort was led by, Commander John McGeever of Post 25, Beacon Falls American* Legion, and First Selectman Frank Sem-plnnski. They were followed by the colors, carried by William Karnbnr. and Stephen Bren la. The color guards were Earl Moran s-1 and Joseph . Rybin sky* and the ar j bugler was Edmund Mis. ig J Bearers, who marched beside the hearse were Joseph Natowich, Stanley Ju«?wj shen, George Mu*.1 inskf, Charles Matazewski. Don-a’d Mitchell and Ernest Trzaski. The firing squad, in charge of Scrgt. Chester Trzaski, consisted nf the following: Loul* Franz.James Reilly. Charles GnndarH-Ins, Nicholas MenniIJo, Austin Ford. Robert Crosby, Roland La-Bclle and Ed ward PilJoise.The family in cars, and a marching honor guard of Benvn Falls and Naugatuck veterans followed the hearse, bearing the flag covered casket, Also in this group was n delegation from the auxiliary of the Legion post.At St. James' cemetery, committal services were read by Father Cooke. The flag was removed from the casket and folded by Ernest Trsoskf and Jo soph ' Natowlch, who gave it to Sergt. Edgar Cart- I nick, escort, who presented it to' Mrs. Dobosz.
