The grass will be light, but Still there will be a heavier crop than last year. The Oats will be short in straw and crop but the grain will be heavier than last year. The corn is suffering and unless we have rain very soon, the crop will be very light.The local press of the counties of . the State, speak v.ery favorably of the crops. Indeed the crops now being gathered, they say* will be much bet-tertban last year. Unless there is a heavy foreign demand for wheat, and it does not seem probable, it must soon come down to a much lower price. We would not advise farmers to holdout for high prices, the consumptioncannot be greater than at present..
