Francis A. Riese of Massillon, O.; Lc. William A. Sylvester oi Bakersfield, Cal.r and Pvt. Bruce A. Mitchell of Seattle, Wash.Among the honorary pall bearers for Pyle will he four wartime correspondents in the. Pacific — Dan. McGuire and Joe James Custer, formerly of the United Press; Web-ley Edwards, formerly of-the Columbia Broadcasting system; and Lief Erickson- of the Associated Press.Pyles father, William, will be represented by Edwin Heinke, assistant managing editor of the Indianapolis Times who will place a wreath on the grave. Heinke also will place a wreath in behalf of the Cripps-Hcnvard newspaper chain and act as an honorary pallbearer.The new cemetery in the shadow of Diamond Head will be the resting place for 12,000 heroes of World War II.
