3 Marine Flyers Killed in CrashSAN DIEGO, July 19.—(IP)—Three marine fliers were killed anda fourth injured, when two planescrashed head-on near Marietta, 70miies northeast of here, the marine corps announced today. The crash occurred Saturday.Dead were Lieut. Donald Stiner, Paso. Robles; Sergt. Guy Mum-maw, 20, Columbia, Pa.; and Chester J. Samul, 27, Detroit, Mich. Lieut. Ray' L. Reed suffered minor injuries, but parachuted to safety. His home town was not given in the announcement.All were attached to the El Toro marine air base at Sante Ana. The planes-were on a routine training flight.
