Spanish War Veterans To Hold Annual PicnicMembers *of the United Spanish War Veterans and its auxiliary will have their annual picnic Friday in the large pavilion at Bever park.Dinner will be served at 6:30, Meat and dessert will be furnished. Members are asked to take table service, sandwiches and a hot dish.The dinner will be followed by a short program, at which time Past Commander L. W. Minehart will introduce the newly elected Iowa Department commander, Jay H, Watts of Cedar Rapids and three members of his staff: Elmer E. Johnson, judge advocate; Julius Sorensen, assistant adjutant, and L. L. McKim, junior color bearer.Final event of the evening will be a short business meeting for both the camp and auxiliary.
