Full- ! cr before an army reclassification board as a result of his ! public criticism of treatment of colored soldiers in the Southwest Pacific is giving the War Department a headache.Hearing in the case began Thursday morning after a fiery session the day before in which Judge W. C. Hueston of Washington won the right to represent Chaplain-Fuller.Judge Hueston went behind closed doors with the officials, returned and announced that -the hearing would be held and that he would be counsel.Civilian Counsel DemandedSince arrangements have been in the making. War Department officials have insisted that Chaplain Fuller use only the government lawyer assigned to him.The chaplain has protested, stating that he had the ; right to choose his own counsel. After a lengthy conference and upon the recommendation and insistence of Lieut. Harry I.
