Laredo Post No. 59 inducted new American Legion officers last night at its annual installation which had commanding officers of Laredo army units and 25 additional staff officers as guests of honor at Legion Home.Commander Herman Schcor was given a tremendous ovation by Legion buddies and visiting :,rmy men as Past Commander A, L. Ahrens pinned upon him the past president’s button. “You have made an outstanding commander, You have served your country well and your work will always be remembered’' Ahrens told Seheer.Induction officers with Ahrens were Past Commander Frank Heins, Vice District Commander J. E. Goode and Louis Kowalski. Short addresses were made by Brig. Gen. Wayland B. Augur, commander of the 50th Cavalry Brigade; Col. John Dunlap, executive officer of the brigade; Lieut. Col.
