Crash of MCAS jet kills twoThe pilot of a Marine Corps Air Station F-4 Phantom and his radar intercept officer were killed in a crash of their jet on a training mission on the Cibola Range Tuesday afternoon.Dead in the accident are 1st Lt. Dustin E. Storm, 27, the pilot, and Capt. Frank K. Ogden, 35, the radar officer. Storm, whose wife Peggy has been living here, is from Pensacola, Fla. Ogden, whose wife Sharon has also been living here, is from Mount Home, IdahoThe Cibola Range is some 40 miles north of Yuma. The two men were with the Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron (VMFAT-101). Cause of the crash, which happened during a routine training mission, is under investigation.
