5 Years Ago.July 13.1S72.Marine Corps Enlistees.Two Marshall High School graduates have enlisted in the U S Marine Corps according to an announcement made by the local area recruiter The enlistees are Jerry D Koppler, son of Mr and Mrs Leon Koppler, Route 5. Marshall, and Paul Joseph Piper, son of Mrs Shirely Fyfe, route 2. Martinsville.Both young men are currently undergoing recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot. San Diego, CalifKoppler has enlisted for four years while Piper has elected to take a regular three-year enlistment
