Glenn R. Cover, son of Glenn M. and Yvonne G. Cover of 528 East First Street, Cumberland, was presented the Air Assault Badge upon graduation from the U.S. Army’s air assault school at Fort Campbell, Ky.Trainees learned to rapidly andsafely exit a helicopter from a variety,of difficult situations, whether descending into tree tops or lowering themselves or injured soldiers down sheer drops. Cover is a cadet at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.
