Word has been received from Pete Yeager, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Yeager, Allendale, that he has been discharged from the Navy and will arrive home this week-end. Pete entered the Navy in July, 1944, and was with the V-12 training course at Pennsylvania State college until he transferred to Great ‘Lakes, 111., the first -part of this year. In March he was stationed aboard the USS Oklahoma City and served in the Pacific area. Pete attended Indiana State Teachers college prior to his entrance into the Navy, and will enter Yalein the fall.
