Former Eleetra Man Missing in Burmcr-indiaELECTRA, Texas. July 13.— Flight Officer Harold S. Pettit, transport pilot, has been missing since June 1T in the Burma-Indin theater, according to information received by his wife. Mrs. Pat Pettit. Mrs. Pettit and their infant daughter, Mary Jane, aged 2 months, reside in Dallas.Pettit made his home in Eleetra with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Pettit, while he was attending high school. His par-, ents, Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Pettit, reside in Dallas. His brother, Capt. E. Y. Pettit, is in a hospital at Longview recovering from wounds received in the invasion of France.
