As soon as a building can be obtained, Mr. Goodmanson will begin the new trade along with his electrical appliance business. He is an ex-serviceman. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil C. Cooper. Jr. left Saturday for the East. They stopped over at Waterloo to visit her relatives, and from there went to Greenville, Ohio to visit her parents. Krieger was formerly pastor there, Willam Miller has purchased the Mrs. John Webinga residence and possession will be given the first of October. Price was $4300. Rev. and Mrs. John Webinga will move to the residence they purchased some time ago, at Maurice, Herbert J. Krieger S ie was honorably discharged after 14 months of service, 10 of them on Saipan. He came home last week. His brother, Robert Krieger S 2e, also received his discharge, after 31 months on guard duty in San Diego, Calif. They are sons of Rev. and Mrs. H. W. Krieger. Herbert met Allen Eisma MM 2/c on the way home. They had both been on Saipan, but had never. Met. Allen is now on leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sip Eisma. Cpl. John Van Zanten arrived with his discharge last week. He is the third son of Mr. and Mrs. John Van Zanten to be dis charged. Cpl. Van Zanten served 26 months, with 18 months of that time in Germany and Aus tria. ‘Born to Mr. and Mrs. William De Vries of Orange City, a 7% pound daughter at the hospital there. Mrs. De Vries is the former Johanna Den Quen. There is a son in the family. Mr. and Mrs. George Bartlett attended the wedding of their niece, Miss Dorothy Poppen, and Clarence Bomgaars at Sioux Center, Friday. Mr. and Mrs.Tony De Bey and daughter, Linda, of Rock Valley were Sunday visitors at the parental Ernest Mulder home.
