uly, 1S63, bo hugely. W.CorrectionsHeadquarters 63d Recihsst, I Cairo, July 8,1S61. fEditors lt;^cago Tribune:In the Chicago Tribuhs of the 7th, I see a notice of the flag presentation to the 63d regiment Blinois infantry on the 4th.- Tour report is incorrect in almost every particular in reference to nam^ as well as the flag. Though very beautiful and costly, it was not the Gen. Bragg flag, nor did it come from Richmond county, or received by Col. Mars. Te gods, what a distinction!—and what a pity it is all a blunder! The facts are as follows:The flag was gotten up . by the citizens of Richland county, and presented by a committee of gentlemen from that county. The presentation speech was made by Judge A. Kitchell, and responded to by CoL F. Moro. The day passed off finely, excepting the accident referred to in your article. The men hurt are doing well—eye not destroyed, etc. Please correct these mistakes, and oblige, Tours truly, Con. y. Moko,Comdg 63d regiment.
