Begin Evacuation at Grand RapidsGRAND RAPIDS— (ff) —The: beginning of evacuation from a number of buildings housing1 the Army air forces weather | school here, preparatory to; closing the training center, was announced today.Post officials said personnel had been withdrawn from the Rowe hotel and that withdrawal from the pantlind exhibition building was underway. Both buildings will revert to owners July 16.Evacuation will be completed Sept. 20 when the Army leaves the Pantlind hotel. These facilities are being retained until graduation of a class of meteorology cadets.
