REUNION OF “THE TIGERS.”Col. Studebaker’s Regiment Forms aPermanent Organization.* /A dispatch from Plymouth says the irst annual reunion of the One Hun* Ired and Fifty-seventh Indiana Volunteers was held there Monday and Tuesday, with a large attendance. The regimental organization was perfected, with N. W. Gilbert, of Angola, temporary chairman; B. J. Ellert, Ft. Wayne, temporary secretary. The permanent officers are: Colonel George Studebaker, president; Benjamin E. Clemmans, North Manchester, first vice president; B. J. Ellert, secretary George M. Feaser, treasurer; Captain Charles F. Medbury chaplain; Peter A. Thompson, Ft. Wayne, historian. The name of the organization is to be ‘Studebaker’s Tigers,” and One Hundred and Fifty-seventh Indiana Volun fceer Infantry Association: GeneralLawton the first brigade commander over the One Hundred and Fifty-seventh at Chickamauga, and James EC Gore were elected honorary mem bers. Resolutions were passsed tendering the services of the One Hundred and Fifty-seventh to the government for service in the Philipines. After perfecting the organization a camp fire was held at the fair grounds.Sergeant John Roach of this city was elected vice president from Company C.
