Relate Experiences on Bombing MissionAfter a bombing mission in the Solomons, these airmen, part of the 13th army air force in the south Pacific, are being questioned by Col. William A. Matheney, of Spokane, their commanding officer.In the group is Richard J. Geshay, son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Geshay, Route 3, Box 299. The Racine staff sergeant is a flightengineer, and has been in the service for almost two years. He has been in the combat area since last winter. In the group are Lt. William Flood, pilot, New York city; Colonel Matheney; Capt. Elmer Newman, pilot, Dallas, Texas; Lt. Harold Cunningham, bombardier, Meridian, Miss.; Lt. Orlus F. Wyse, pilot, Burlington, Iowa; and Sergeant Geshay.The airmen are reporting on their destruction of three Japanese medium cargo vessels, in which they employed mast-high bombing which was so effective in the battle of Bismarck sea.Geshay's father has been employed for several years by S.
