Finch, first vice commander of the Newton post of the American Legion, Monday night was nominated for commander for the coming year at the regular biweekly meeting of the organisation.Hoy Criss, finance officer of the post, was nominated for commander at a previous meeting .Election will be held on Mondaynight, July 19.
