Edwards has been quite ill at her home here’for the past 10 days.Mrs. Glenn Peters and baby daughter, Glenda, and mother, Mrs. Ernie Stroud, returned home last week from an extended vitiit with relatives in Clayton, Ga. Before her marriage Mrs. Peters was Miss Ernestine Stroud, an employee in the cosmetic department at Kress’.Malcolm Guess, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Guess, and (Junior) Billy Edwards spent last week out at Miakka visiting Junior** aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Vic Edward s.Seaman, first class, James R. Meriwether visited Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Tucker and family, Wednesday. He came home on a 15-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.. J. R.
