Lacy, 64, died Thursday, July 1, 2004.Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Saint John’s Catholic Church, Sum-mersville.Arrangements by White Funeral Home, Summersville.Sterling T. Lewis Sr.Sterling T. Lewis Sr., 78, of Shady Spring, left this earth after a courageous fight on July 3, 3004 at Raleigh G-eneral Hospital. He was bom Sept. 3, 1925, in Raven, Va. He was the son of the late Robert Lee Lewis and Maggie Mae Proffitt-Lewis.He was the owner and manager of the S S IGA Foodliner in Beaver for many years alongwith his wife, Helen. He attended the Open Door Church in Shady Spring.He was a former member of the West Virginia House of Dele-gates emd also served as a Raleigh County Commissioner. He was a veteran of World War II and served during the Korean Conflict. He received numerous ribbons and medals and achieved the rank of Staff Sgt. in the 5th Air Force Division as a radar mechanic on B-25 bombers. He was a 1944 graduate of Stoco High School.Sterling Sr. was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters, Robert, Clarence, McK-innley, James, Lela Ross and Naomi Plymale. He was survived in death by his beloved w ife of 58 years, Helen A. Walker-Lewis; son, Sterling Lewis Jr. and companion, Deborajean Hudson, grandson, Sterling “Dusty” Lewis III and wife, Candace Boggs Lewis; granddaughter, Courtney Lewis Meadows and husbana, Adam “Shane” Meadows; one great-grandson, Sterling “Cade” Lewis IV, and one sister, HelenGarrison.Service will be Tuesday, July 6,
