Newsam lies here Rein R. Giese, 74, caretaker of the Mace Cemetery near Brown’s Corners In Dodge County, straightens an American flag on the grave of Richard New mi m, unofficially listed as a Revolutionary War soldier. There are some who believe Newsam was actually a British deserter. Glese owns a farm across the road from the cemetery, which Is located along Highway 33, about four miles east of Hericon and five miles south of Mayvilie.
