Second Wound FightingIn Korea, Hit in ArmPfc. Earlen Dean Neater, son of Mrs. Mildred Banning, Brookfield, has been wounded in action in the Korean War for the second time. Mrs' Banning received a letter from her son today saying he had been hit in the le:'t arm by shrapnel.The letter said he suftavtd the wound on June 21. He vm not «*U. ehte* .. a, h«*p, tsd, h y t was treated at'a first aid .i:i*.ion.In his letter, Pfc. Nei.er said the wound would entitle him to a Purple Heart, the second which he has received. Last Feb. 22, he was hit in the back by a bullet. Nester spent two months in a hospital and underwent three operations following that wound.In his letter Nester said he Is expecting to return to the United States within 15 days and he also expects to be discharged.Pfc. Nester served 18 months in thc^ army and was discharged last spring. In September of last year he was called back to service. He went to Brookfield High School prior to his enlistment. He has been with Company G of the Fifth Cavalry Regiment.
