The bodies are expected to be returned within the jnext and will be accompanied by an Army escort from the Distribution Center of the American Graves Registration Service./ «• 1The body of T/5 Horn was interred in the Henry-Chap temporary military cemetery inBelgium, but was returned to country for final interment at the request of his next of kin, Mrs. Emma F. Burris, a sister, of route 2, Delphi. ' . ;Pvt. Hefner is being returned to this country aboard the transport Greenville Victory which is due to dock in New York soon. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hefner of route 5, Monti-oello. • ' 'Horn was killed in action in Germany on September 22, 1944. The yOuth, 25 at the time of his death, was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Horn and was born April 13, 1919, near Burrows. He was a graduate of the Rockfield high tschool, class of 1937.He entered service on April 23,1942, and received training at Ft. Knox, Ky.; desert training in California, Camp Pickett, Va., and Indiantown Gap Military Reservation, Pa. . , -He went overseas August 23,1943, and was killed 13 months to the day after he left the United States. He served as a supply truck driver in the Third Armored Division which was a part of- Patton’s Third Army. Prior to going into the service, the young soldier was employed in Logans-port.LOUIS MARK HEFNERAt the time of his death, he was survived by two sisters, Mrs. Burris and Mrs. Cleo Hinkle, the latter of route 1, Camden; a brother, Charles, 19, who was wounded during the recent war.- lt;HP*Louis Mark Hefner, 19, was killed in action on July 6, 1944, in France. The young'soldier entered army service on July 1, 1943, and was assigned to an anti-aircraft unit. He received his training at Ft. Bliss, Texas. He departed for overseas service in April, 1944:fHe was a graduate of the Mon-ticello high school, class of 1943. Besides his parents, a brother, Harry, survived.
