Buffard, 19, son of Mrs. Jean Buffard, of Westfield, ‘and other members of the 4th Battalion of the 82nd *Airborne Division’s 68th Armor from Ft. Bragg, N.C., participated in a yearly tank gunnery qualification test at Ft. Stewart, Ga.During the tests, tank crewmen underwent extensive day and night qualifying runs on the range to determine their individual and crew efficiency. Each individual received a qualification badge after successfully completing the course.Pfc. Buffard is a tank crewman with' the Battalion’s Company B.HTs wife, Rita, lives in Spring Lake, N.C,
