Mr. and Mrs. Geoice M McKay. Brainerd Route 2Capt. McKay, who had been in the Philippines since early 1941, departed with the last evacuees from Corrigedor two days before its fall. Aftet being sent to Australia, Capt. McKay, then a first lieutenant, returned to the United States, where she spent a 30-day leave in Brainerd last March.Following her leave, she was again sent overseas to Australia and last September was sent to New Guinea From there Capt.
