Sacaton Man PromotediTo Captain In Air CorpsMr. and Mrs. Andy. Vidovich' of Sacaton this week received a letter stating: that their son Harlyn, has been promoted to rank of captain in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Theyhave consented to allow a portionof the letter to be published, as foI!oivs:;Lear Mrs. Vidovich:You have no doubt received word frdm Harlyn of his recent, promotion to the grade of Captain/ He has done a very good job over here, as is proven by his having been promoted twice since his assignment to this unit In- March. 1942. |Your son- has set up a riifce record ,ln * aerial combat, which both you and Captain Vidovich: can be justly proud of. He hasj to his credit two enemy aircraft confirmed and three probably destroyed. These probables may be confirmed at some later date. |The coolness and courage displayed by Harlyn during] combat has been -an inspiration to I all who have flown with him.
